This retreat is hosted by Eva Iguaran from Eva Diana Birth photography. Her passion for capturing intimate moments and zest for travel inspired her to create a camp dedicated to creative growth.

Creating in Iceland

    • Boost your creativity surrounded by Iceland’s wilderness while learning from award-winning creatives.

    • You will work on a small project throughout your journey that you can present at the end of the retreat.

    • Creativity development sessions & workshops.

    • Shared accommodation in Olfus.

      *(Bathrooms are communal. Should you need private options, please make a note when applying).

    • 2 daily hot meals plus teas & coffees provided by a nationally recognized chef.

Eva Iguaran is a passionate and visionary retreat leader, as well as the founder of EvaDiana Photography With a deep-rooted love for travel, personal growth, and transformation.  Through this Icelandic Experience , Eva empowers individuals to step outside their comfort zones, expand their horizons, and embark on soulful adventures that leave a lasting impact on their lives.

Kyle Portbury

Kyle is an Emmy Award-winning writer/director of live-action and animation. His 2024 feature The Hopeful qualified for Best Picture at the 97th Academy Awards and earned him an Australian Directors Guild nomination for best direction of a feature film. Most recently, Kyle co-wrote the animated feature David, which has grossed over $80M at the US domestic box office since releasing on 3,000+ screens during Christmas 2025.

Gudmundur Ibsen

Speaker

Gudmundur Ibsen—or Gummi, as most people know him—is a local photographer that has called Seattle home for the past 22 years. Originally from Iceland, he became interested in photography in high school, and that enthusiasm has stayed with him ever since. After a career in the technical world, Gummi began working at the intersection of his passion and skill in photography and video design and production.
